For the time you were given, this came out pretty good. The lighting is really astounding. That being said, the anatomy in the face is kinda... off, and definitely needs a little work. Overall though, great work!

I really like the simplistic, silhouette you used for Ridley. It's seven different flavors of epic.

It’s a redesign of X-Parasite Ridley so I decided to give him three heads. Can you imagine how crazy it would be to fight him in a Metroid game!?

[concept work]

The art itself is very good, however, the art is hindered by the poor quality of the photo. If you can't afford a high quality picture, just take a picture and edit it in any old image editing program and adjust the brightness and contrast.

This is pretty cute! I love the expressions on their faces, it really tells all. The simplistic coloring, and the muted color choice really benefited this picture for the better. I could be a douche, and complain about the fact that there's no background, and they're just floating in space, but it works for this.
All in all, good job!

This is pretty good. My only complaint, really is that the lines are a bit messy. It's a tad bit distracting. The shading on the hair and pants is fantastic, as well as the tone on the muscles.

It was the preference of the commissioner, they, and myself both prefure the rougher sketchier look it gives the image. Though I do admit its a wee bit 'too' messy.

The design for this is pretty awesome! The rendering is simply amazing, this is astounding. If I were to complain about something, it'd be that the teeth kind of make it look goofy, but everything else is simply amazing,

Thanks for the positive comment, it's very kind of you. I definitely understand your opinion when it comes to the teeth. When I sketched it out, I tried a few different things for the face, but when I roughed in this weird goofy smile (I thought your choice of the word 'goofy' was a good one) I really liked the contrast between the smile and the rest of the design, which is quite serious. I just liked the weird, uneasy feel that it gave to the character. I kind of knew it wouldn't be for everyone though, so I get what you're saying.

[Case Eye]

At first, I was kinda distracted by the fact that it was so simple. Then I read that they were meant to be stickers, in which case the simplicity is fine. At least what is detailed is detailed very well. I'm almost hypnotized by the crazy colorful eyes.

[The Sane Hatter]

This is fantastic. The atmosphere and design of this is great. However, I dd feel that the snake (?) on the side feels a bit flat. In fact, the lighting/shadows overall needs a bit of work. Despite that though, this is a fantastic piece.

Thank you. Yeahhh using a pencil I found on my desk doesn't benefit shadows, I'll take note of the contrast next time.

Design wise, this is fantastic. Same things with the values, they're pretty good. I absolutely adore all of the detail packed into this, it really goes to show how much hard work was put into this. That being said, some work could be done with the facial anatomy. The face looks... misshapen. Well, maybe not that, but something seems off. It's kind of distracting. That being said, though, this is very well done. Great work!

I took a picture of this with my camera and tried to fix it a bit in photoshop so it's possible that whatever attention I didn't pay to proportionate anatomy was probably exacerbated. Perhaps when I get my scanner working again I can see if I can fix it. It's also hard to get the tones to come through properly with a camera phone haha.

I am glad you enjoyed the piece. It was a random idea that I started sketching and ended up finishing. I am so glad I did.

This is very well done. Great job! My only complaint is that the hair looks a bit iffy, but other then that, this is fantastic. Great study!
